Posting and writing every day during the month of April (except Sundays), the challenge is to write my way through the alphabet.
K is for Kudos...
Keyboards, know how and kudos keep the writer in a kaleidoscope of good karma.
And sometimes it gets those kooks in her life a kayak, or two.
(Sorry folks, inside joke with my hubby...and yes, he wants a kayak...K?!)
I hope you've enjoyed my 'K' post. As always comments are welcome and encouraged. If you do leave a comment your name will be entered to win e-book copies of both Defending Glory and Frank, Incense and Muriel. The winner will be announced in early May. The more times you comment, the more chances to win!

Now I understand your comment on my post. Your post is very clever... except, being a first class wimp, I can't understand why anyone would want a kayak!

Not being the best swimmer I've never had an interest in kayaking. I'm afraid I would get stuck upside down in the water and drown.

Tossing It Out
Great K post! :) I love the word 'kudos'.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosalind, hubby is like a fish...loves the water. For his 60th birthday he visited a waterpark. Seriously. (Just a big kid at heart!)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Arlee, when I see that kayak go over I hold my breath...and I'm on shore!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Talli. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post with the letter K! Kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteSo, is your husband getting the kayak?
ReplyDeleteI love being on the water, but kayaks just freak me out. Too confining and I know for certain I would flip upside and freak out and then be too panicked to figure out how to get right side up and I have thought about this way too much considering I live nowhere near the water. So yea kayaks are definitely out for me

Thanks Darlene! Kudos right back at you! Love this A-Z Challenge. Such fun!
ReplyDeleteOh, Lindsay, do you even have to ask? Of course he is! Knows the make and model and all the features, and all that...
ReplyDeleteThe good news is he's promised to go out with other kayakers. Safety in numbers. Plus, he's taken the course, can swim like a fish, and is very conscientious. (Just don't tell him I still worry.)
Worse? Daughter loves kayaks, too.
I'm outnumbered! :(
Hubby tells me flipping over and then righting oneself is easy in a kayak.
ReplyDeleteOf course, like you, Dafeenah, I worry I'll be held under the water until my lungs burst...
Never mind that I can write a couple of thousand words without thinking, but holding my breath under water while I'm upside down? Nope..ain't gonna happen!
But wait. There's a scene here somewhere! A mystery. A murder... ;-)
Loved your k post, Anne.
ReplyDeleteKaren
Thanks, Karen...your post about keeping the focus on yourself is something I really need to work on.
ReplyDeleteNice word choice for your K day alliteration. Best word within the post: kayak.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your post. I'm still trying to get my hubby to take me whitewater rafting..
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gail. Hubby thinks it's the best word, too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh, Jennifer, I'm such a baby when it comes to that kind of thing. I don't even like waterslides that allow 6-year old kids!! (They go TOO fast!)
